Director and award winning designer Katherine Lightfoot founded Kella Design Co. as a result of her pure appreciation for the design industry, knowing in her heart that this was her calling. Katherine adores working with people and bringing her clients dreams to life. With a clear and unique vision of how she can utilise her qualified skill set and innate abilities for her clients.

With a Bachelors degree in Design, majoring in spatial design, NKBA National Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma of Kitchen Design and just shy of a decade of experience in the industry Katherine has a plethora of knowledge and skill. She is also a proud member of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA) and a member on the NKBA Auckland chapter committee.
Vivacious and warm, Katherine loves working closely alongside her clients, understanding who they are, what they require and how they want to live, which allows her to create specifically tailored spaces to perfectly suit them and their lifestyle . She acquires a strong affinity for impeccable design that is successful both functionally and aesthetically. She believes in producing high quality outcomes for her clients which stand the test of time.
